Alpinia Colour 6
Plants with showy flowers on long brightly colored red bracts. They look like the bloom, but the true flower is the small white flower on top.Red ginger can grow tall up to 8 feet, and it has a spectacular flower spike. The small, inconspicuous, tubular, white flowers emerge from between colorful floral bracts on terminal flower spikes. Young plantlets emerge from the base of the old inflorescences and can take root if they touch the ground. The flowers are occasionally followed by rounded seed capsules.
